Start your adventure
Choose a companion, explore Dewfall and reach its guardian at wave 10. Catch companions, choose a reward after each win and watch your team's HP and move PP between fights. Party manages your six active companions; All Companions keeps the rest. Your first guardian victory opens the next part of the adventure.
Back up or move progress
Open Menu → Options & save → Export save and keep the file somewhere safe. To move to another browser, device or edition, choose Import save there and select your backup. Importing a valid save replaces the progress in that installation, so export your current chronicle first.
- iPhone and iPad: the share sheet lets you save the backup to Files, AirDrop it or send it elsewhere. A copy is also kept in Files → On My iPhone → Fablekin (On My iPad on iPad).
- Web and Chrome: the backup downloads as a file through your browser.
The website, extension and mobile apps each keep their own local save; they do not sync automatically. Deleting the app or clearing its storage removes its progress, so export first.
“Another tab is playing”
Close the other Fablekin game tab at this same address, then choose Try again · load latest save. One tab owns progress writes to protect your chronicle. Export before discarding any unsaved progress.
Saving is blocked
Keep the game open and export your progress first. Check available device storage and, on the web, that your browser permits site storage. Private browsing and clearing site data can remove saves. If the game offers a last working save or an unreadable recovery export, keep a copy before resetting.
No music or sound
Tap or click the game once, then open Options and check Music and SFX volume. Check the device volume and silent settings. Sound pauses when the game is in the background; returning may need another tap to resume audio.
A creature image is missing
Open Options & save → Report a graphics problem. Export diagnostics before choosing Refresh battle graphics. Refresh redraws the scene without spending a turn. If WebGL cannot start, the game switches to its Canvas fallback automatically.
Report a problem
Email will@unit09.app. Tell us what you expected, what happened, your device or browser, and the steps that led to it. Options & save includes optional local play-test logging and graphics diagnostics. Reports stay on your device until you export and send them; no report or save is uploaded or attached automatically. Review an export before sending it.
